Aino-Maija Metsola's Ilves pattern comes to life on this marimekko mug. 

The Ilves pattern features two young bobcats are frolicking in the dusk – perhaps they are almost full-grown siblings. With their spots and tufted ears, these inhabitants of the northern forests are truly captivating creatures. Aino-Maija Metsola painted the Ilves (bobcat) pattern onto paper with brush and ink.
